Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Puffio — Smart Shopping List ("Puffio", "the app") is published by NexForgeLabs ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app handles and where it is stored.

2. Information we collect

We collect nothing. The app does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. The release version of Puffio does not request the Internet permission, meaning it is technically unable to send data off your device.

Specifically, the app does not use or access: analytics services, crash reporting services, advertising networks, tracking technologies, user accounts or authentication, your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, device identifiers, or advertising identifiers.

3. Data stored on your device

Everything you create in Puffio is stored locally on your device, in the app's private storage area that other apps cannot read:

• Shopping lists and items — the lists and item names you enter, stored in a local database.
• Shopping history ("Frequently Bought" suggestions) — the app remembers which items you have added or checked off before, how often, and when, so it can suggest them to you again. This information never leaves your device and is used only to generate suggestions inside the app.
• Settings — your theme, language, and widget preferences.

4. Home-screen widget

The optional Android home-screen widget displays your current list name and remaining items. This data is shared only between the app and its own widget inside the app's private storage on your device. It is not sent anywhere.

5. Backups and file export

• Manual export/import — you can export your lists and history to a file using the system file dialog, and import it later. Export files are created only when you choose to do so, saved where you choose, and are under your control. The app can only read files you explicitly select.
• Operating-system backup — Android may include the app's local data in your device backup (Android Auto Backup) linked to your own Google account, if you have device backup enabled. This is a feature of your device's operating system, controlled by your device settings — not a transfer to us. We never receive this data.

6. Network communication

Puffio makes no network requests. It works fully offline.

7. Third-party services and data sharing

The app does not use any third-party services that collect or receive user data, and we do not share any data with third parties — we have no data to share. The open-source software libraries used to build the app (for the user interface, local database, and file dialogs) operate entirely on-device.

8. Data retention and deletion

Your data stays on your device for as long as you keep it. You can delete it at any time:

• Delete individual items, lists, or suggestion history inside the app;
• Use Settings → Clear all data to erase everything the app has stored;
• Uninstall the app, which removes its local data from the device (a copy may remain in your own device backup until that backup is overwritten or you disable it in your device settings).

9. Security

Your data is stored in the app's private, sandboxed storage area provided by the operating system, which prevents other apps from accessing it. Because no data is transmitted, there is no data in transit to secure.

10. Children's privacy

Puffio does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app contains no ads, no social features, and no external links that collect data.

11. Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app changes how data is handled (for example, if an optional cloud-sync feature is ever added), we will update this policy and its effective date before that version is released.
